Role Summary

This position is tailored for individuals seeking a role in a professional office setting with flexible hours. The typical schedule will be negotiated, primarily falling between 8:30 AM and 5:00 PM, four days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of hotel services and events.
  • Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone and email.
  • Ensure accurate entry of reservations into the system.
  • Return calls from the voice messaging system in a timely manner.
  • Comfortably reach out to guests regarding declined payment methods for reservations requiring advance payment.
  • Process reservations made by third parties.
  • Pre-assign rooms for incoming groups as necessary.
  • Verify that PM accounts for upcoming groups are checked in.
  • Allocate group charges to appropriate PM accounts.
  • Manage guest deposits and no-show charges as needed.
  • Monitor hotel room availability and manage group reservation inventory.
  • Collaborate closely with the Group Rooms Coordinator to ensure timely completion of tasks related to group bookings.
  • Ensure rooming lists and pickup reports are sent to clients promptly.
  • Engage with the Front Desk, Sales, and Convention Service teams effectively.
  • Perform clerical tasks, including light filing and creating guest vouchers.
  • Exhibit strong multitasking abilities.
  • Maintain a keen attention to detail, which is essential for this role.
  • Fulfill reasonable requests from supervisors, including the Director of Sales and other department managers as necessary.
Qualifications

Prior experience with OPERA PMS is highly preferred. This is an ONSITE position and cannot be performed remotely.
