Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Patient Coordinator to join our front desk team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing front desk operations, and ensuring seamless communication between patients and our clinical staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Front Desk Excellence: Efficiently manage front desk operations, including appointment scheduling, patient check-in/check-out, and handling phone inquiries.
  • Patient Engagement: Warmly greet patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing their needs throughout their visit.
  • Administrative Coordination: Collaborate with clinical staff for seamless patient flow and an excellent patient experience.
  • Insurance Handling: Assist patients with insurance matters, accurately process claims, and facilitate billing procedures.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate treatment plans, financial estimates, and post-operative instructions to patients.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA and OSHA, to maintain a safe and confidential environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: At least 1 year of Dental Office Experience (Knowledge of Open Dental Software is a plus)
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Ability to manage tasks, prioritize, and maintain order in a busy front desk setting.
  • Ability to Multitask: Navigate a fast-paced office environment, transitioning between check-in and check-out duties efficiently.
  • Team Player: Collaborative mindset, working effectively with colleagues to ensure a harmonious work atmosphere.
  • Patient Focused: Strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient experiences with empathy and professionalism.
