Position Summary
The Safety and Security Officer is responsible for safeguarding the well-being of guests and their belongings, as well as supporting fellow staff members. This role involves collaboration with various departments to ensure that all areas remain secure when unoccupied and to protect the assets of the establishment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the property, including external parking areas.
- Report any irregular activities, safety breaches, vehicle thefts, property damage, or suspicious actions.
- Maintain a detailed daily log documenting incidents of theft, accidents, and safety concerns, and carry out investigations into all security-related events.
- Stay informed about all emergency protocols, policies, and regulations relevant to the hotel.
- Respond promptly to emergency alarms or requests for assistance, assess the situation, and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Complete necessary documentation for any property loss or personal injury incidents involving guests or employees.
- Assist the front desk as required, including answering calls and handling basic inquiries.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
