Key Responsibilities:

Utilizing your knowledge, you will engage with healthcare professionals by conducting sales presentations and providing clinical support in surgical settings. This role involves collaboration with leading orthopedic surgeons, hospital staff, administrators, and healthcare providers to promote and enhance the adoption of our Sports Medicine offerings.

Your achievements will stem from your technical expertise in Sports Medicine and your capacity to cultivate strong relationships that facilitate access to clients, delivering reliable, data-driven solutions. You will also devise a strategic business plan for your territory aimed at revenue generation and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Resourceful advisors who will diligently work to master Sports Medicine surgical techniques. Our sales representatives offer top-notch technical assistance to ensure product availability aligns with customer and patient requirements.

Collaborative and committed team players who are eager to partner with all Smith+Nephew Reconstruction and Sports Medicine colleagues in the region to uncover sales opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4-6 years of direct sales experience, with 2-4 years in the medical device sector preferred
  • Experience in selling technology and/or capital equipment to various stakeholders within healthcare settings, including surgeons, nursing staff, administration, and facilities
  • Demonstrated success in converting business at the surgeon or hospital level
  • Proven track record of achieving sales quotas consistently
  • Experience in leading and mentoring team members and new sales representatives
Travel Expectations: Regular travel within your assigned sales territory, with 2-4 overnight stays per month depending on territory geography. Occasional national travel for events and conferences may be required.

All field sales professionals must complete our credentialing process to gain access to healthcare facilities, which may include COVID-19 vaccination management.
