Overview

JÖST is seeking a dedicated J-Code Administrative Support Specialist to enhance our operational capabilities. This full-time role is essential for supporting the mission of the Department of Defense in the realm of navigation warfare (NAVWAR).

Role Responsibilities

As a vital member of the Joint Navigation Warfare Center (JNWC), you will:

  • Facilitate the effective management of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth execution of ongoing operations.
  • Provide assistance to action officers in the planning and coordination of executive events.
  • Maintain organized personnel files and prepare essential correspondence while managing schedules and travel arrangements.
  • Support the management of the Task Management Tool (TMT) and serve as a subject matter expert, offering training to new users.
  • Assist in document preparation and contribute to the development of contract deliverables and reports.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of seven years of relevant experience in administrative support.
  • At least four years of experience in an executive administrative capacity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Desired Qualifications

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Certification as an Administrative Assistant, Administrative Professional, Microsoft Office Specialist, or equivalent.
Clearance Requirements

Candidates must hold an active Secret security clearance and be able to pass a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
