Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

Role Responsibilities:

As a Patient Services Coordinator II, you will act as an advocate for patients and their families, enhancing customer service and promoting a culture centered on patient and family needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Utilizing effective communication and critical thinking skills to assist guests with inquiries, both in person and over the phone.
  • Monitoring and guiding guests in accessing the Emergency Department with compassion and care.
  • Serving as a liaison for patients and families, addressing concerns promptly and proactively.

Qualifications:

Required Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education: Associate's Degree or higher

Required Experience: Minimum of one year in customer service or a public-facing role. Familiarity with automated information systems is essential. Completion of de-escalation and compassionate communication training within the first year is required.
