Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule Referrals: Utilize practice management software to schedule incoming referrals, prioritizing patient needs and provider requests.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Technology Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in using multiple technology-based communication systems, including multi-line phone systems.
  • Account Management: Update patient account information in the practice management system, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Team Lead or Manager to address operational issues and maintain department efficiency.
  • Statistical Reporting: Maintain logs for statistical reporting on incoming referrals, providing valuable insights for practice improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of customer service experience, preferably in a medical office setting.
  • Skills: Comfortable using multiple technology-based communication systems, with previous experience using multi-line phone systems preferred.
