The Human Resources Manager plays a pivotal role in aligning staffing with business requirements, maintaining essential HR initiatives, and overseeing talent management. This position collaborates closely with the Plant General Manager to integrate HR considerations into broader organizational strategies. A solid understanding of labor and employment laws, exceptional communication abilities, and a commitment to MCC's Core Values and culture are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring Optimal Staffing: The HR Manager will utilize talent acquisition strategies to address open positions and identify strategic personnel needs. This includes working with local staffing agencies for temporary roles and playing a vital role in the selection process for management positions.
  • Enhancing Managerial and HR Team Effectiveness: This role will lead the talent identification and succession planning initiatives, collaborating with the HR Director to compile data and present key internal talent for upcoming opportunities. The HR Manager will also implement individual development plans and oversee performance management processes.
  • Driving Onboarding and Communication: The HR Manager will ensure the successful execution of the onboarding strategy and provide constructive feedback for continuous improvement. This includes facilitating various communication channels to engage associates and monitor feedback through surveys.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related field
