Regional Sales Director for Interventional Technologies in the Great Lakes Region

Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading our domestic sales organization to maximize sales volume and revenue for Haemonetics. This will involve developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership and will be responsible for the following key areas:
- Recruit, retain, and develop key personnel to drive sales performance
- Design and develop domestic sales programs and policies to achieve corporate objectives
- Manage and coach market development managers and territory managers to achieve sales targets
- Establish and maintain direct customer relationships with key clients
- Plan and monitor regional sales performance, developing quarterly action plans and reports
- Manage financial planning for the sales organization, including expense compliance and budgeting
- Assist in the design of incentive-based compensation plans with Human Resources
- Ensure compliance with company policies, including trunk stock management and product training
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, the candidate will need to possess the following qualifications:
- Thorough knowledge of the cardiovascular medical device industry, products, and customers
- Minimum 5 years experience in sales and/or marketing in the medical device industry
- Prefer 2 years experience in sales management position or equivalent
- BA/BS in Business or Science
- Proven managerial skills for coaching and developing direct reports
- Exceptional selling skills
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Ability to achieve goals in a team environment
- Exceptional leadership skills for influencing and motivating internal staff and external customers
- Good analytical and organizational skills
Work Environment:
This is a full-time role that requires up to 75% travel. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to a dynamic work environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
