Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts in the Great Lakes region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with dealerships and dealer groups, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leverage your network and relationships to build a book of business with dealerships and dealer groups
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of each dealership's unique business challenges and how our products and services can solve them
  • Manage a significant opportunity pipeline to guarantee success and regional growth by generating and qualifying leads
  • Source and develop client referrals
  • Schedule daily sales activities
  • Make sales calls by phone, electronically, or in person
  • Utilize Pipedrive for sales activity records maintenance
  • Partner with the Performance Management team to ensure customers are properly developed and cared for
  • Be accountable for delivering on commitments
  • Hit targets set together
  • Communicate openly and be receptive to ideas
  • Make sure our clients are happy and making money
  • Contribute ideas to our product development
  • Teach us things we didn't know
  • Learn things you didn't know
  • Bring a great attitude and positive energy every day
Requirements
  • Proven sales success - show us what you've accomplished
  • Tech savvy and marketing savvy - it's what we do here, after all
  • 1-year preferred working in a dealership in the retail automotive industry
  • 1-year preferred working in the vendor space of automotive industry with specific experience working with, or selling to, dealers and dealer groups respectively, a definite asset
  • Finance Manager experience, a definite asset
  • Experience working with software and/or digital solutions, a definite asset
