As a Guest Services Supervisor, you will oversee front desk operations, ensuring that our guests receive unparalleled service and support. Your role will also involve assisting in the overall management of hotel operations as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment, selection, and training of front desk personnel, ensuring they are well-versed in hotel policies and procedures.
  • Foster positive associate relations through effective supervision, including conducting performance evaluations and managing disciplinary actions.
  • Schedule front desk staff to guarantee adequate coverage while adhering to payroll guidelines.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and service at the front desk, addressing and resolving guest complaints within your authority.
  • Manage front desk operations, including welcoming guests, processing transactions, overseeing the front office system, answering inquiries, and ordering necessary supplies.
  • Handle reservations, registrations, special requests for groups, promotional initiatives, and review daily clerk logbooks and shift reports.
  • Process daily and end-of-period financial reports, ensuring accuracy in guest ledgers, accounts receivable, payroll, and cash management.
  • Report any safety and security concerns to the Director of Front Office Operations, including compliance with OSHA and general liability regulations.
  • Perform additional related duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in hotel front desk operations is essential.
  • A High School Diploma is required.
  • Strong supervisory skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficiency in using office and front desk equipment.
  • Fluency in English, with the ability to read, write, and speak the language.
  • Flexibility in work schedule is necessary.
  • Professional representation of the company is expected.
  • A valid driver's license and personal transportation are required.
