Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the Holiday Inn Express Charleston-Civic Center. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services, ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Provide friendly and efficient check-in and check-out services to hotel guests, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
  • Payment Processing: Process all payments according to established hotel requirements, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with guests, management, and colleagues to resolve any issues or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting: Generate, print, and distribute daily reports to designated departments, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Dispute Resolution: Resolve discrepancies on the room status report with Housekeeping, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Requirements
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and colleagues to their understanding.
  • Technical Skills: Computer experience preferred.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge: Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
