The Ophthalmic Photographer will be responsible for:
- Working with patient's insurance coverage
- Knowledge of ophthalmic anatomy
- Telephone etiquette
- Automatic and manual lensometry
- Keratometry
- Preparing patients for special testing
- Photography archiving systems
- Computerized medical records
The ideal candidate will have:
- A High School diploma or GED
- A Bachelor's degree preferred
- Three years ophthalmic photography experience
- COA level competency
The Ophthalmic Photographer should have:
- Knowledge of ophthalmic and medical terminology
- Ability to keyboard 40 wpm
- Ability to use a computer, printer, and software programs necessary to the position
- Operate/troubleshoot basic office equipment
- Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
- Collaborate and accept direction
- Think critically
- Manage multiple assignments effectively
- Organize and prioritize workload
- Work well under pressure
- Problem solve
- Recall information with accuracy

The Ophthalmic Photographer should have:
- A valid California Driver's license
- Ophthalmic Photographer's Society Membership preferred
