Position Overview:

The Sales Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the National Account Sales Manager (NASM) through a variety of initiatives aimed at enhancing sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical sales assistance to the NASM across diverse projects to drive sales growth.
  • Verify and review incoming orders for precision, delivery timelines, and overall fulfillment.
  • Address product development inquiries with guidance from the NASM.
  • Take charge of crafting Sales Presentations utilizing various platforms.
  • Prepare materials for Management and Sales Meetings, including the creation of charts and graphs, as well as assisting with agendas.
  • Accurately communicate order requests within the team to ensure efficient order management.
  • Participate actively in weekly meetings aimed at boosting sales.
  • Collaborate directly with clients in preparation for meetings, managing samples, and overseeing pre-purchase order processes.
  • Oversee Sample Management both preproduction and post-production, including for the Showroom as necessary.
  • Maintain a Purchase Order Log for all accounts diligently.
  • Review and coordinate weekly sales activities for accounts and manage reporting accordingly.
  • Keep the Customer Database updated and organized.
  • Some light lifting of boxes and samples may be required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree.
  • Experience in inside sales support, customer service, or coordination roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Possess professional communication skills: tactful, positive, and effective in both verbal and written forms.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking abilities; capable of organizing, prioritizing, and multitasking while following directions.
  • Exhibit reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Show interest in a variety of merchandise categories and licensed brands.
  • Possess exceptional conflict resolution skills and be a proactive problem solver.
  • Demonstrate strong time management skills and contribute to sales enhancement efforts.
  • Ability to utilize Outlook, manage the Outlook Calendar, and maintain a daily task list.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
  • Ability to follow directions, troubleshoot issues, and meet set goals and objectives.
  • Take ownership of work and output with a self-motivated and passionate approach.
  • Organized and detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through and follow-up capabilities.
  • Proven track record of positive performance reviews.
  • Possess an outgoing and personable demeanor.
