Role Responsibilities:

  • Customer Advocacy: Act as the voice of the customer by collaborating with both field and central teams to relay valuable feedback to product development teams. Curate custom feature requests tailored to unique customer scenarios.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide advanced technical insights to your aligned GTM teams, addressing critical business challenges faced by our customers.
  • Standards Ownership: Collaborate with your extended team to uphold the technical standards for specialist artifacts.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Work alongside GTM colleagues to integrate technical insights into GTM strategies and support local marketing initiatives, events, and customer engagements.
  • Thought Leadership: Share best practices through various platforms such as AWS blogs, whitepapers, and public speaking engagements.
  • Community Guidance: Support an internal community of technical experts aligned with customer needs, creating enablement materials for broader understanding of AWS solutions.

Daily Activities: You will spearhead the GTM strategy for AWS Cloud Operations, focusing on solutions for ISV customers. Your role will involve creating innovative solutions, leveraging partnerships, and initiating projects that drive customer success.

Feedback Loop: Provide essential feedback from customers to shape our product roadmap and collaborate with our partner network to foster an ecosystem that aligns with customer objectives.

Innovation Partnership: When customers seek to innovate and explore new ways to utilize AWS, your role will be pivotal in co-creating solutions that meet their needs.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in designing, implementing, or consulting on distributed applications.
  • 5+ years of experience managing technical, customer-facing teams.
  • 5+ years of experience in Cloud Operations design, deployment, and management.
  • Proven track record in technical consulting or architecture engagements with large-scale enterprises.
  • Experience in migrating legacy solutions to the cloud.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with executives and technical teams.
  • AWS Solution Architecture certification or relevant cloud expertise is preferred.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field is highly desired.
