We are currently seeking a **Senior Service Center Engineer** for our regional service center in Houston, TX. This role encompasses all technical facets that support the operations of the service center and serves as a technical liaison to the corporate engineering division.

**Key Responsibilities** Implement customer specifications for the repair, modification, or enhancement of equipment Assess the condition of machinery and identify components that can be reused, repaired, or need replacement Conduct failure analysis and generate technical reports for clients Define the scope of work necessary to restore equipment to optimal working condition Measure and reverse engineer non-standard components Provide calculations for the manufacture of new gears or the repair of existing ones Design, specify, and produce detailed drawings of components Create job travelers that outline the sequence of operations and detail the work required for repairs or modifications of gears, components, and machinery Assist in the technical training of shop personnel Offer technical support to suppliers, clients, field service, and customer service teams Occasional travel may be necessary.

**Minimum Qualifications** Bachelor’s degree in design or mechanical engineering A minimum of 5 years of experience in design or manufacturing engineering, assembly or test supervision, or field service engineering and equipment repair Proficiency in mechanical power transmission and gear drives is essential Basic understanding of fluid film and rolling element bearings, gear design, and vibration analysis is highly desirable Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling Strong computer skills; proficient in Microsoft 365/Office Suite software Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
