We are currently looking for a **Senior Service Center Engineer** to join our regional service center.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Address customer specifications for the repair, enhancement, or upgrade of equipment.
  • Assess equipment condition to identify components that can be reused, repaired, or need replacement.
  • Conduct failure analysis and prepare technical documentation for clients.
  • Outline the work scope necessary to restore equipment to optimal functionality.
  • Measure and reverse engineer components not manufactured by Philadelphia Gear.
  • Provide calculations for the production of new gears or the refurbishment of existing ones.
  • Design, specify, and generate detailed drawings of components.
  • Create job travelers that outline the sequence of operations and detail the tasks required for gear and equipment repairs or modifications.
  • Support the technical training of workshop staff.
  • Offer technical assistance to suppliers, clients, field service, and customer service teams.
  • Occasional travel may be necessary.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
  • Bachelor’s degree in design or mechanical engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in design or manufacturing engineering, assembly or testing supervision, or field service engineering and equipment repair.
  • Experience with mechanical power transmission and gear systems is essential.
  • Basic understanding of fluid film and rolling element bearings, gear design, and vibration analysis is highly desirable.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks 3D modeling.
  • Strong computer skills; adept in Microsoft 365/Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
