Job Title: Production Control Specialist

Sonaca North America is a leading provider of aerospace and defense solutions, driven by innovation and a commitment to excellence. We are seeking a highly skilled Production Control Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Production Control Specialist will be responsible for processing sales orders, resolving customer requests, questions, and complaints, and maintaining positive relations with our customers. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process sales orders and resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and various departments throughout the facility.
  • Coordinate the efficient flow of product through the manufacturing process.
  • Manage and coordinate customer short flows, AOGs (aircraft on ground), and negotiate due dates when on-time delivery is in jeopardy.
  • Communicate with Production, scheduling, shipping, and purchasing to acquire dates to report to customers.
  • Be the main contact and resident expert for each assigned customer regarding issues such as contract requirements, lead-times, and individual customer needs.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in customer service in manufacturing or a related industry.
  • Aerospace experience preferred.
  • Background in manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Associate degree or high school diploma with equivalent years of experience in customer service, engineering, or materials management required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Understanding of process flows, lead-times, and lean principles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of all Production Control functions.

Hourly Pay Range:

$21.00 per hour. This base pay range is specific to residents of California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Washington, and any other state that may require such disclosure.
