Aerospace Technician/Assembler Job Description

Saxon Aerospace USA is seeking a skilled Aerospace Technician/Assembler to join our team in Renton, WA. As an Aerospace Technician/Assembler, you will work closely with other assemblers to connect components and construct mechanical products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and fit aircraft parts and structures using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Inspect and test assembled components to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications
  • Repair or replace faulty components and parts using hand and power tools
  • Interpreting technical documents, such as diagrams, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions
  • Working with other members of the line or group in order to assemble products
  • Keeping a clean and tidy workspace
  • Meeting all safety requirements of the company and industry
  • Identifying any defective items and handling them according to established procedures
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • 2+ years' experience as an assembler
  • Ability to use product documentation, schematics, and verbal/written instruction
Working Conditions:
  • Pushing, pulling, bending, and lifting
  • Lifting and handling objects up to 40 pounds
  • Standing for 10-12 hour shifts
Compensation and Benefits:

$45/hr
