About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Document Imaging Specialist to join our team at AEVEX Aerospace. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the digitization effort to convert paper documents to image.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare files and documents for conversion, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Determine the most suitable scanning device for each document type, ensuring optimal image quality.
  • Perform and monitor all activities required to scan documents, including quality control and indexing.
  • Manage inventory of workstations and equipment, ensuring seamless operations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Perform daily preventative maintenance on scanning equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Review scanned document images electronically, verifying accuracy and quality.
  • Deliver scanned pages in electronic format, meeting scanning targets and deadlines.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, with 6+ years of work experience.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly and crossover eligibility.
  • Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 35 pounds, as required.
  • Previous scanning experience, with strong attention to detail and focus on quality control and indexing.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Understanding of security requirements and ability to adhere to them.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, with ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
