We are seeking a highly skilled Document Imaging Specialist to join our team at AEVEX Aerospace. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the digitization effort to convert paper documents to image.
Key Responsibilities- Review and prepare files and documents for conversion, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Determine the most suitable scanning device for each document type, ensuring optimal image quality.
- Perform and monitor all activities required to scan documents, including quality control and indexing.
- Manage inventory of workstations and equipment, ensuring seamless operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance on scanning equipment, ensuring optimal performance.
- Review scanned document images electronically, verifying accuracy and quality.
- Deliver scanned pages in electronic format, meeting scanning targets and deadlines.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with 6+ years of work experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Poly and crossover eligibility.
- Ability to lift cartons weighing up to 35 pounds, as required.
- Previous scanning experience, with strong attention to detail and focus on quality control and indexing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work well in a team environment.
- Understanding of security requirements and ability to adhere to them.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with ability to adapt to changing work requirements and priorities.
