TEKsystems is seeking a Mortgage Lending Administrative Support Specialist to join a leading Financial Institution.

Position Overview: This role is focused on delivering a range of administrative support services within the mortgage lending division, ensuring smooth daily operations. Under direct supervision, you will adhere to established processes and procedures to complete routine tasks efficiently. Your role will involve responding to inquiries from both internal and external sources to guarantee timely and accurate service delivery. You may also coordinate communications by managing phone calls, directing visitor traffic, and organizing meetings and events. This position operates with close oversight or under clearly defined guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct incoming communications, including calls, visitors, mail, and emails.
  • Utilize business software applications to create documents, reports, presentations, and meeting agendas.
  • Monitor and address inquiries received through various channels.
  • Gather, prepare, and maintain data for reporting and analysis.
  • Sort and distribute correspondence and reports efficiently.
  • Act as a liaison between departments to support operational initiatives.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or processing issues, including documentation and time-sensitive matters.
  • Track and update action items in relevant databases.
  • Perform data entry in automated systems and generate reports as needed.
  • Establish and maintain organized filing systems.
  • Operate standard office equipment and maintain essential supplies.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience is required, with a focus on writing and editing, particularly for presentations and organizational communications.
  • Experience in project support and working on initiatives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.

Software Proficiency:

  • Experience in creating PowerPoint presentations (presentation skills not required).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Graphic design skills are a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong data entry capabilities.

Additional Information:

  • This is an entry-level position with minimal prior experience required.
  • Basic clerical and administrative skills are essential.
  • Competence in keyboarding and document review for accuracy is necessary.
  • Ability to follow guidelines and maintain attention to detail is crucial.
  • Basic mathematical skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required.
