TEKsystems is currently seeking a Mortgage Lending Administrative Support Specialist to join a leading Financial Institution.

Position Overview: This role involves providing essential administrative assistance within the mortgage lending sector, ensuring smooth daily operations. The position requires adherence to established processes and procedures to complete routine tasks effectively. The individual will be responsible for managing inquiries from both internal and external sources to guarantee timely and accurate service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct incoming communications, including phone calls, visitors, and correspondence.
  • Utilize business software tools to create documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Monitor and respond to inquiries across various communication channels.
  • Compile and maintain data for reporting and analysis purposes.
  • Serve as a liaison between different business units to support operational projects.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies or processing issues efficiently.
  • Track action items and update relevant databases.
  • Perform data entry tasks and generate necessary reports.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems for easy access to information.
  • Ensure the upkeep of office equipment and supplies.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in an administrative capacity.
  • Proficient in written and verbal communication.
  • Experience in project support and initiative management.
  • Ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.

Software Proficiency:

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint.
  • Familiarity with design or graphic tools is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Competency in data entry and general computer skills.
