The role involves managing the inventory, procurement, and receipt of all operational supplies and equipment. Engages with colleagues and supervisors in a respectful and courteous manner to ensure exceptional hospitality.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Maintaining cleanliness in the back-of-house and throughout the venue.
  • Assisting in the recruitment, hiring, and training processes for new team members.
  • Overseeing scheduling, promotions, and professional development within the assigned department.
  • Collaborating with the General Manager to facilitate the procurement of all front-of-house supplies.
  • Supervising back-of-house operations to ensure safety, quality, recipe adherence, and financial success.
  • Managing inventory levels for all supplies related to regular service, catering, take-out, delivery, and events.
  • Coordinating all delivery and receiving processes in accordance with purchase order specifications.
  • Overseeing the stocking and rotation of all non-beverage deliveries.
  • Possessing extensive knowledge of operational systems, including inventory management, purchasing, and receiving.
  • Participating in the review of the venue's monthly Profit & Loss statements.
  • Ensuring compliance with health department and company sanitation standards.
  • Guaranteeing adherence to all federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Coaching and developing back-of-house team members by establishing clear expectations.
  • Ensuring all mechanical systems are operational and compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Confirming that all team members follow back-of-house standards and procedures.
  • Demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of all food and beverage offerings and the venue itself.
  • Completing all opening and closing procedures as outlined by the company.
  • Communicating effectively with all team members during service.
  • Possessing practical knowledge of the roles of all supervised team members.
  • Reporting any breakage or damage of equipment or furniture to management promptly.
  • Participating in training sessions and departmental meetings.
  • Learning through observation, listening, and sharing knowledge while leading by example.
  • Exhibiting a positive and professional demeanor.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of Tao Group Hospitality, its partners, and associated hotel environments.
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team and providing support to fellow team members.
  • Completing additional tasks as assigned.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

  • Tao Group Hospitality in-venue purchaser training

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Two-year associate degree (60 credit hours) in Hospitality, Business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in purchasing management or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Experience in a high-volume operational environment.

  • Experience in an Office, Casino, Nightclub, Bar, Lounge, and/or Restaurant setting.
  • Exposure to hot kitchen elements and cleaning materials.
  • May require extended hours, irregular shifts, evening and/or weekend work, and holiday shifts.
  • Maintain a professional, neat, and well-groomed appearance in accordance with company standards.
  • Must work effectively as part of a team; ability to interact professionally and courteously with internal and external customers, managers, and co-workers.
