- Oversee reservations and manage service for restaurant events, special occasions, and room service hospitality suites.
- Understand how departmental operations impact the overall financial objectives of the property.
- Foster excellent relationships with guests.
- Establish daily sales goals for the team.
- Review guest feedback and share insights with the team for continuous improvement.
- Initiate and execute marketing strategies in the local area to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to maintain high service standards and satisfaction for meeting clients.
- Utilize creativity and innovation to enhance commercial operations.
- Develop strong partnerships with local businesses to promote bar services and small restaurant events.
- Assist in managing and coordinating all aspects of the hotel's Restaurant, Bar, and Room Service to ensure optimal efficiency and guest satisfaction, aligning results with hotel targets.
- Ensure compliance with cash handling procedures and internal audit guidelines.
- Implement and monitor internal checks effectively.
- Oversee purchasing for outlets, manage inventory, and ensure adherence to purchasing targets set by the brand.
- Maintain equipment and cultural assets in excellent condition.
- Update the cash register system and prepare various financial reports.
- Support other hotel departments as needed.
- Ensure that food and beverage costs align with the hotel's and brand's requirements.
Salary Range: $62,000 - $68,000.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within a New York City union restaurant or hotel.
- Preferred: 2-year degree in Food & Beverage or Hospitality Management.
- Knowledge of beverage control systems and compliance with liquor laws and safety regulations is essential.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills, with a focus on efficiency.
- Proficient in English (both oral and written); knowledge of French or another language is a plus.
Visa Requirements: Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
