Position Overview:
The primary objective of this role is to cultivate and sustain high-performing teams within the Food and Beverage sector. This position is accountable for meeting financial targets and company goals while managing cost control measures to fulfill guest service expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure that service quality meets the established standards and performance metrics, including the cleanliness and presentation of designated dining areas.
- Oversee the comprehensive training of all staff, focusing on service protocols, food safety regulations, and guest interaction standards.
- Guarantee adherence to operational policies, procedures, and regulations within the Food and Beverage department.
- Compile and present Food and Beverage reports as needed, relevant to assigned responsibilities.
- Manage labor expenses by creating schedules that align with business needs.
- Handle the recruitment, training, and scheduling of team members effectively.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement disciplinary measures when necessary.
- Prepare and adhere to budgetary guidelines for assigned areas.
- Order necessary supplies and maintain precise inventory levels within budget constraints.
- Support the career advancement of team members through effective mentoring and coaching.
- Engage with guests to address and resolve any concerns in line with service standards.
- Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory, unless waived by Human Resources.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline is preferred.
- At least five (5) years of supervisory or management experience is desirable.
- A minimum of five (5) years in Food and Beverage and guest service roles is preferred.
- Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, along with strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities are essential.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
