Chief of Staff Job Description

As Chief of Staff, you will play a critical role in overseeing and directing projects, initiatives, and strategy implementation across all areas of Marketing & Strategy (M&S). You will partner with the Chief Marketing & Strategy Officer (CMSO) to develop and implement division strategy and OKRs aligned to company strategy and growth ambitions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Planning & Projects: Partner with the CMSO to set direction, define initiatives, and OKRs aligned to company goals. Support prioritization of actions and manage the operations of the business.
  • Communication & Coordination: Build and maintain close relationships and connectivity with AZL senior leadership, business partners, and key internal and external stakeholders across the Allianz Group and within the industry.
  • Leadership: Manage alignment among MSLG and across business stakeholders, bridging perceived silos and promoting positive business partner relationships.
  • Process & Innovation: Proactively drive innovation in process and execution across our portfolio.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Services or related field required
  • Proven ability to flex between strategic thinking and tactical implementation
  • Demonstrated ability to drive tangible outcomes
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to design model and processes
  • Ability to effectively consult with and influence every level of the organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
