Job Title: Sr Sales Account Manager

Ursus Inc is seeking a highly skilled Sr Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing major transportation OEM and harness maker accounts, with a focus on growing customer book of business and strengthening customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead account growth and manage customer relationships
  • Create customer strategies through detailed value propositions
  • Lead resolution of customer commercial disputes
  • Establish proactive communication and relationship with customers
  • Ensure customer demands are managed through internal processes
  • Create and drive deployment of strategic plans for accounts
  • Interact with customer purchasing, engineering, and program management teams
  • Identify business development opportunities
  • Coordinate and monitor pricing, quotations, business proposals, and 'win-or-lose' feedback
Requirements:
  • 5+ years experience working in the transportation industry
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • Ability to forge customer relationships with purchasing, engineering, and business teams
  • Persistence to achieve revenue and profit goals
  • Ability to compile and present business cases for leadership approval
  • Business acumen including negotiation skills and understanding of financial business cases
  • Self-starter in learning the CS product portfolio and unique design features' value proposition
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage large and varied workloads, set priorities, and close
  • Ability to read a production print and answer basic product questions without involving engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering
  • 8+ years experience working in the transportation industry
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to work with a team
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize, and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently
  • Resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing environment
