About the Role:
The Sales & Front Desk Associate plays a crucial role at Scenthound, dedicated to promoting memberships while delivering outstanding service to each customer.

Key Requirements:
Proven sales experience and confidence (membership sales are particularly valued)
Experience in customer service (retail, hospitality)
Proficiency with technology and computer systems
A genuine passion for dogs and their health and wellness
Reliable transportation
Willingness to work in a smoke-free environment.

Ideal Candidate:
We seek a driven team member who is enthusiastic about sales and customer service. A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is sociable, self-driven, an independent problem solver, and a caring dog enthusiast.

Responsibilities:
- Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
- Achieve key performance metrics - average ticket price and rebooking ratio - through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
- Generate membership leads and follow up with potential clients
- Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles and records
- Manage cash transactions and maintain accountability for daily cash handling
- Address customer expectations, resolve concerns, and retain memberships
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, adhering to Scenthound's sanitary practices
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager.

Skills and Competencies:
- Confidence in selling services and products
- Ability to connect with customers (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional service
- Capacity to learn about our offerings and educate dog owners, aligning with our values and culture
- Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and over the phone)
- Problem-solving skills guided by Scenthound's values and culture
- Attention to detail and time management for efficient appointment scheduling
- Accountability to uphold Scenthound standards.

Compensation:
$15.00 per hour
