Bay Systems Consulting Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled Travel Training Specialist at a senior level. This role requires a proactive individual capable of interfacing effectively with government and contract personnel while adhering to professional standards and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive end-user training and support for tailored hardware and software solutions in various locations, both domestic and international. Training focuses on utilizing Windows 10/11 OS and managing peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and biometric systems.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within small teams to assist with diverse software and systems-related tasks.
  • Conduct training sessions in various formats including one-on-one, small groups, large groups, virtual, and ad hoc settings.
  • Design, organize, and present technical training materials to support both customers and company personnel.
  • Collaborate with clients and functional teams to define training content and objectives.
  • Develop training plans based on onsite database and workflow assessments.
  • Document issues and follow established processes clearly.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date with current product features.
  • Provide regular status updates to management and clients during training activities.
  • Complete all reporting requirements promptly.
  • Offer support during Go-Live phases for workstation deployments.
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend support as necessary for training tasks.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Showcase critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple priorities and initiating projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in delivering software application training to end users in various settings.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, education, business administration, or management information sciences. Relevant work experience or industry certifications may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Experience in training end users on complex hardware and software solutions is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possession of one or more technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Educator, MS Endpoint Administrator) is highly preferred.
  • Experience in delivering technical training using remote tools such as MS Teams and Cisco Webex.
  • Familiarity with international travel requirements, including visas and medical documentation, is highly preferred.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
  • A current and active Secret clearance is highly preferred.
