The Travel Training Specialist will demonstrate sound judgment while collaborating with government and contract personnel, ensuring adherence to professional standards and operational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive end-user training and support for customized hardware and software solutions in various locations.
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively within small teams to address software and systems-related tasks.
  • Facilitate training sessions for individuals and groups, both in-person and virtually.
  • Design, organize, and present technical training materials to support clients and company personnel.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define training content and objectives.
  • Develop training plans based on thorough analysis of onsite databases and workflows.
  • Document issues clearly and follow established processes.
  • Ensure training materials are up-to-date with current product features.
  • Provide regular status updates to management and clients during training activities.
  • Complete all reporting requirements promptly.
  • Offer support during workstation deployments.
  • Be available for after-hours and weekend support as necessary.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with both internal and external clients.
  • Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach with the ability to work independently.
  • Showcase critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Possess excellent organizational skills to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Proven experience in delivering software application training in various settings.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated initiative and effective decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Productivity applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% domestically and internationally.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, education, business administration, or management information sciences. Relevant work experience or industry certifications may substitute for educational requirements.
  • Experience in training end users on complex hardware and software solutions is highly preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certifications such as CompTIA ITF+, A+, Network+, Security+, CTT+, Microsoft Certified Trainer, or similar are highly preferred.
  • Experience in delivering technical training using remote tools like MS Teams and Cisco Webex.
  • Familiarity with international travel requirements, including visas and medical documentation, is highly preferred.

Security Clearance:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance.
  • A current and active Secret clearance is highly preferred.
