Your Role:

In this position, you will apply your comprehensive knowledge of joint operations and tactical targeting to support special operations initiatives. Your expertise will be instrumental in the planning and execution of tactical fire operations, contributing to the success of multi-domain missions. You will collaborate with other defense professionals to refine tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) while supporting modeling and simulation capabilities for joint exercises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize over 8 years of experience in tactical environments, particularly in Special Operations mission sets.
  • Engage in joint operational environments, demonstrating proficiency in direct combat scenarios.
  • Apply the Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) and relevant joint fire support doctrines.
  • Exhibit a thorough understanding of tactical fire control measures and the SOF and Conventional Joint Fires Kill-Chain doctrine.
  • Conduct assessments of post-strike combat effectiveness and provide actionable recommendations to operational planners.
  • Maintain a TS/SCI clearance and uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and security.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in intelligence operations and small unit planning.
  • Familiarity with exercises and wargaming methodologies.
  • Background in ISR missions or intelligence product support.
  • Knowledge of joint targeting platforms and their integration.
  • Understanding of system engineering principles and data analytics.
