Pinnacle Government Consulting, Inc. is in search of seasoned Senior Policy Consultants / Management Advisors with expertise in supporting Department of Defense (DoD) policy initiatives and programs. The professionals in this role will be instrumental in conducting policy analysis, research, writing, editing, and coordination to support our DoD client's comprehensive policy framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough policy analysis, interpretation, and evaluation of federal policies and directives, with a particular emphasis on DoD guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with our client to identify their specific policy requirements and deliver customized solutions.
  • Lead and facilitate the creation and coordination of policy documents to ensure effective implementation of DoD directives at the Client-Component level.
  • Engage closely with colleagues across the Client-Component to assist in drafting and preparing policy documents, ensuring professional and clear communication.
  • Coordinate the collection of feedback and comments on Client-Component directives from various stakeholders.
  • Monitor, track, and communicate updates and modifications to Client-Component policies to keep clients informed and compliant.
  • Develop high-quality deliverables and presentations, ensuring that all outputs are formatted and produced according to established specifications.
  • Review and refine policy documents and other communications for compliance with style guidelines and accuracy, including grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
  • Offer policy recommendations and insights to aid clients in making informed decisions and enhancing policy execution.
  • Stay updated on emerging trends, changes, and best practices at both the DoD and Client-Component policy levels.
  • Oversee daily program activities, including identifying, documenting, and assessing requirements and risks; interfacing with stakeholders and generating reports; and reviewing work products to ensure they meet deadlines and completeness.
  • Support program management tasks such as documenting and adhering to standard operating procedures, tracking and reporting metrics, recording meeting notes, performing data entry, and executing administrative duties.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of business process improvement initiatives, including identifying client needs, constructing project plans, assessing current laws and regulations, evaluating risks and benefits, designing process flows, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancements.
  • Contribute to company development activities, including proposal writing, creating white papers, and participating in internal initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • A minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Active US government Secret Security Clearance.
  • Exceptional writing skills with a keen attention to detail and strong verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt swiftly to changing work environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of DoD policies, directives, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Experience in providing policy guidance and analysis to government entities or clients.
  • Experience in Federal Government Consulting.
