EXECUTIVE FINANCIAL STRATEGIST

POSITION SUMMARY

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be instrumental in shaping the financial landscape of Windquest Group, overseeing all financial operations, risk management, and administrative functions.

This pivotal role involves assessing cash flow, financial forecasting, and identifying the organization's financial strengths and areas for improvement.

With a robust background in product innovation, particularly in the consumer goods sector, the CFO will work closely with various teams to support business growth.

Key responsibilities include refining financial strategies related to debt management, treasury functions, and maintaining effective cash flow oversight.

The CFO will establish and maintain control systems designed to protect company assets and provide accurate financial reporting.

Additionally, this role ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

The CFO reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer, playing a crucial role in advancing Windquest Group's objectives and ensuring its financial health.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and oversee financial strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets by providing strategic financial insights and leadership on key organizational decisions.
  • Manage the overall financial performance of the finance and accounting division, ensuring timely, accurate, and strategic financial outcomes.
  • Oversee the procurement processes to optimize cash flow and meet operational demands.
  • Drive product development initiatives to maximize profitability and operational efficiency.
  • Set and maintain profit margin objectives to enhance profitability across all divisions of Windquest Group.
  • Administer investor allocations and maintain financial records accurately.
  • Continuously seek improvements in budgeting processes and educate the finance team on financial implications affecting departmental budgets.
  • Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Ensure the finance team meets or exceeds performance expectations.
  • Review and recommend efficiencies in resource allocation.
  • Enhance debt management practices.
  • Provide timely and accurate financial reporting, including regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Promote product commercialization strategies to optimize profitability.
  • Establish and uphold profit margin targets to ensure financial success across all sectors.
  • Monitor cash flow and other financial metrics to maintain compliance with financial agreements.
  • Strengthen banking relationships and implement strategies to improve cash positions.
  • Create a reliable cash flow forecasting process to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with the CEO in developing the organization's strategic plans and evaluating financial scenarios.
  • Assess and advise on the financial implications of long-term planning and new initiatives.
  • Provide timely analysis of key performance indicators, ensuring the delivery of budgets and financial statements to support executive decision-making.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Play a key financial role in any corporate transactions undertaken by the organization.
  • Analyze and inform operational decisions impacting supply chain management and financial performance.
  • Offer technical financial expertise and guidance to team members, translating financial information into understandable insights for broader organizational understanding.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • A minimum of fifteen years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in a senior finance role.
  • Experience in the consumer goods industry, with a focus on product development.
  • Proven track record in developing financial strategies for rapidly growing organizations.
  • A visionary approach combined with a strong operational background in finance and corporate infrastructure.
  • Expertise in strategic planning and financial analysis.
  • Thorough understanding of financial operations and compliance requirements.
