  • Costing and Analysis: Develop product costs through collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Purchasing teams.
  • Business Case Analysis: Evaluate internal assumptions regarding manufacturing, engineering, and materials to ensure accurate costing.
  • Capital Planning: Support capital planning through capacity and utilization verification.
  • Cost Optimization: Educate the organization on product cost and effective drivers to optimize total costs.
  • Purchasing Support: Support purchasing in Make/Buy analysis.
  • Manufacturing Expertise: Develop in-depth knowledge of manufacturing capabilities through best business practices.
  • Executive Reporting: Create executive-level presentations to communicate financial results and strategic recommendations to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes, reporting tools, and analytical techniques to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Support budgeting and forecasting functions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of related financial analysis experience and 5-7 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Skills: Strong background in Finance or Supply Chain, expert-level Excel and PowerPoint skills, and authentic curiosity, proven problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Prior automotive experience.
