Role Overview
The Front Desk Agent plays a crucial role in delivering an exceptional Toronto experience.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Delivering prompt and courteous service to assist, register, and check out hotel guests while embodying the company's values.
  • Ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process for guests in accordance with established standards and policies.
  • Handling incoming calls with professionalism.
  • Monitoring special rates and billing arrangements for guests.
  • Maximizing guest satisfaction by promptly addressing any concerns.
  • Preparing for the arrival of VIP and loyalty members to guarantee a flawless check-in experience.
  • Coordinating the storage and delivery of guest mail, messages, and packages, ensuring efficient processing and distribution.
  • Maintaining an organized, tidy, and sanitized front desk in compliance with ALL Safe policies.
  • Ensuring the front desk is well-stocked with essential materials.
  • Upholding a professional appearance that adheres to hotel grooming standards.
  • Communicating guest feedback to the Assistant Front Office Manager or Manager on Duty.
  • Familiarizing oneself with fire and emergency procedures.
  • Performing additional responsibilities related to Front Office operations as needed.
Qualifications
Previous experience in front desk or reception roles is highly desirable.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Windows XP is advantageous.
  • Experience with Micros PMS/Opera is a plus.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
  • A degree or diploma in Hotel/Hospitality is beneficial.
  • Availability for shift work, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements
This position involves:
  • Constant standing and walking throughout the shift.
  • Frequent lifting and carrying of items up to 30 lbs.
  • Regular kneeling, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
  • Occasional ascending or descending stairs and ramps.
