Electrical Systems Engineer (Pharmaceutical Equipment)

This role is pivotal in driving the success of ongoing projects and the development of new products through the design of electrical hardware, pneumatic systems, and PLC/HMI software. Key Responsibilities:
  • Design project electrical and pneumatic hardware along with PLC/HMI software, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards and adhering to cGMP and GAMP 5 guidelines for the pharmaceutical sector.
  • Collaborate with team members to facilitate effective communication and execution of design, assembly, and testing activities, ensuring a structured approach for transitioning new products to production.
  • Comprehend the requirements for Aseptic and Non-Aseptic Isolator Systems, ensuring their construction maintains appropriate pressure, airflow, and functionality for their intended applications.
  • Create P&ID's, electrical schematics, panel wiring diagrams, termination diagrams, pneumatic schematics, assembly instructions, functional specifications, and test/validation protocols that meet required standards.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Basic understanding of mechanical arrangement and assembly drawings.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in electrical hardware, pneumatic systems, and software design, including:
    • Electrical control panel layout diagrams.
    • Electrical schematic and termination diagrams.
    • Electrical BOM generation.
    • Pneumatic schematic generation.
    • Pneumatic BOM generation.
    • PLC Programming - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
    • HMI Programming - Allen Bradley and/or Siemens.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Experience in technical writing (O&M Manual, Assembly Instructions, Functional & Software Design Specifications).
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical panels, circuitry, and pneumatic systems.
  • Conduct testing and validation of control systems.
