Job Role

Field Service Representative - Ultra Filtration & Membrane Bioreactor

Join us as a Field Service Representative responsible for providing safe commissioning and support services to a broad range of industrial and municipal customers, primarily focusing on ultrafiltration (UF) and membrane bioreactor (MBR) systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reviewing customer plant installations and comparing them against VWTS reference drawings (P&IDs, electrical schematics, general arrangement, etc.)
  • Monitoring equipment performance and operations
  • Conducting maintenance and calibration tasks on various treatment plant instrumentation
  • Performing analytical testing including various parameters such as turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2, SDI, TOC, among others
  • Executing mechanical, electrical, process, and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, pumps, instrumentation, etc.
  • Installing and maintaining various UF membrane configurations
  • Providing informal customer training on system operation and maintenance
  • Offering detailed technical summaries of service visits to customers
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience Needed:
  • High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent and 2+ years' experience in service/maintenance in an industrial setting
  • Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) OR technical certificate in Instrumentation, Controls, water treatment equipment with UF and MBR experience
  • Experience working with PLC control systems, programming, and troubleshooting is a plus
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the U.S.
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, collaborating effectively with project teams
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Compliance with customer site requirements
