Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Installation Specialist to join our team at ESCO Lifesciences Group. As an Installation Specialist, you will be responsible for the installation and re-connection of pharma equipment on site, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble equipment from GA drawings and re-wire pretested equipment safely, demonstrating mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Interpret and mark up GA, P&IDs, and detailed manufacturing drawings to required standards, showcasing your ability to work with technical documentation.
  • Understand mechanical hardware specifications and Functional Design Specifications for client projects, ensuring a deep understanding of equipment functionality.
  • Utilize project support documents during equipment and system assembly & test, including Traceability Matrices, Engineering Design Calculations, Bills of Materials, Test and Validation Protocols, Operating, Maintenance, and Safety Manuals, and work instructions for production and contractor functions.
  • Learn to troubleshoot complex process systems, fans, pumps, control valves, instrumentation, electrical and control systems, including systems with PLC control and HMI's, demonstrating your problem-solving skills.
  • Provide assembly support for process equipment in the ESCO factory, ensuring the highest levels of quality and unscheduled maintenance visits.
  • Work in a manner that gives the highest consideration to safety, as defined by local regulations and company procedures, including the use of PPE.
Requirements
  • BS or Associate degree preferred, or laboratory or pharma job experience may be substituted in lieu of college education, with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Work effectively unsupervised, managing on-site contractors and prioritizing tasks.
  • Management experience, with a focus on team leadership and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working with hand tools and electrical diagnosis skills, with a focus on industrial applications.
  • Fully proficient in MS Excel/Word, with the ability to create and edit technical documents.
  • Superlative customer-facing skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service and support.
  • Available for 85% of travel, with a willingness to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
