Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insurance Account Executive to join our team at Alliant Commercial Realty Services. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for servicing and soliciting new accounts, including cross-selling, direct selling, and cold calling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Solicit New Accounts: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our client base and increase revenue.
  • Service Existing Accounts: Provide exceptional customer service to our existing clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met and exceeded.
  • Renewal Business: Proactively manage renewal business to ensure seamless transitions and minimize loss of clients.
  • Claims Assistance: Provide timely and effective claims assistance to clients, ensuring their needs are met and their businesses are protected.
  • Application and Quote Management: Complete applications, obtain quotes, negotiate premiums and commissions, and prepare proposals and presentations.
  • Coverage Review: Review clients' coverage to identify deficiencies and determine the appropriate level of coverage.
  • Client Meetings: Meet with clients as needed to discuss their insurance needs and provide recommendations.
  • Accounting and Receivable Management: Review accounting history, respond to accounting inquiries, correct discrepancies, and contact clients on receivable collections.
  • Technical Expertise: Serve as a technical expert, assisting department members to resolve complex issues and provide guidance on insurance products and services.
  • Agency Management Systems: Optimize and effectively use agency management systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of related work experience in commercial insurance sales or account management.
  • License: Valid insurance license.
  • Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, good problem-solving and time management skills, ability to work within a team, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
