Engagement Strategist Role Overview

The Engagement Strategist plays a crucial role in collaborating with Commercial Leads and Services Consultants to deliver the comprehensive suite of LiveRamp Global Services (LGS). This encompasses Core (Foundational) services, Advisory Services (Consulting Services), and any additional offerings pertinent to targeted customer segments.

The key indicator of success in this position will be the effective execution of LGS projects, which may vary in complexity. This individual will engage with C-level client executives regularly and foster robust relationships across core sales, product, and operations to ensure client requirements are fulfilled.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with all members of the LiveRamp Global Services (LGS) team to guarantee the successful delivery of services sold by directly managing projects in conjunction with the LGS practice area responsible for execution.
  • Accurately formulate project and resource plans in partnership with clients and LGS practice leads, assessing projects to ensure compliance with LGS standards, budget adherence, and deadline fulfillment.
  • Independently define LGS engagements while utilizing subject matter experts (SMEs) as necessary to validate scope.
  • Lead or participate in client meetings employing a consultative methodology.
  • Manage client relationships through project oversight—collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to comprehend business objectives and aspirations.
  • Provide escalation pathways to the Engagement Management Lead or Engagement Director for both internal and external issues.
  • Identify challenges and formulate practical recommendations to enhance customer value.
  • Exhibit a profound understanding of LiveRamp products and services.
  • Offer mentorship and guidance to fellow team members as needed.
  • Willingness to travel a few times annually.

About You:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or a customer-facing role driving projects, consulting, and/or executing deliverables.
  • 1-2 years of delivering professional services for a strategic consulting firm, SaaS/AdTech company, or large-scale system integrator—experience in high-growth or fast-paced environments is advantageous.
  • A comprehensive understanding of and experience in TV and/or digital media, including the interplay between bought, earned, and owned media.
  • Hands-on analytics experience (media, customer, digital, big data) is a significant plus.
  • Exceptional executive-level communication skills, both written and verbal—capable of discerning underlying business inquiries and effectively conveying technical and non-technical concepts to clients and colleagues at all levels.
  • Strong project management capabilities—must be adept at multitasking and managing various projects, workstreams, and programs.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to analyze, synthesize, and present data to diverse stakeholders (customers and partners).
  • A strategic thinker and problem solver who employs data, analytical skills, and storytelling to support reasoning.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams—highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Driven to set and achieve goals, taking initiative within the workplace—proactive, thorough, and transparent.
  • Thrives in dynamic teams and evolving job functions.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous environments with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to travel at least a few times annually.
