Training Administrator

You will serve as a Training Administrator in the Military Sealift Command, responsible for executing assigned training programs and supporting the Division's high-velocity learning environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and present in-house training and developmental courses or other learning experiences.
- Advise management and employees on training and workforce development policies, regulatory requirements, and procedures.
- Coordinate with U.S. Coast Guard, Navy, governmental entities, and industry to develop recommendations regarding new, experimental, or updated training policy requirements and execution strategies.
- Determine whether assigned training programs meet MSC policy, guidelines, procedures, and management directives, as well as compliance with regulatory or directives from higher authority.
- Serve as a Contracting Officer's Representative (COR), functioning as the contractual focal point for technical clarification and ensuring contract work stays within the scope of the contract and funds available.
- GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: experience with the qualification/rating process for external and internal hiring, experience locating, interpreting, analyzing, and applying qualification standards, and experience developing, creating, and maintaining job analysis, crediting plans, and registers based on job descriptions.
Undergraduate and Graduate Education: Major study in education or a subject area related to the position to be filled. OR Experience that demonstrated a practical knowledge of the subject area of the position and of the methods and techniques of instruction.
Examples of qualifying specialized experience include teaching or instructing in an adult education program, secondary school, college, military installation, or industrial establishment in the appropriate field(s), supervising or administering a training program, development or review of training/course materials, aids, devices, etc., and evaluation of training results, and work in the occupation or subject-matter field of the position to be filled that required training or instructing others on a regular basis.
