Job Title: Receptionist - Norfolk VA

SOUTH BAY SAND BLASTING & TANK CLEANING, INC. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to manage our front desk on a daily basis and perform various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet clients, visitors, and employees with a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Announce clients, visitors, and employees as necessary.
  • Help maintain workplace security by issuing, checking, and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.
  • Update and process Access lists for all Prime contractors and Ship Access.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including copying, faxing, and preparing meeting and training rooms.
  • Answer phones in a professional manner and route calls as necessary.
  • Screen and forward phone calls.
  • Assist colleagues with administrative tasks.
  • Sort and distribute mail.
  • Provide excellent customer service.
  • Assist job seekers with employment applications.
  • Keep the reception/lobby area safe and clean by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Working Environment and Physical Demands:
