Area Administrator

This role provides administrative support to the Young Life field ministry area office, ensuring efficient and organized operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative assistance to area staff, including answering correspondence, filing, and preparing mailings.
- Manage area meetings, including staff, leadership, and committee meetings.
- Coordinate area events, such as camp, banquet, and golf marathon.
- Track and report vacation, sick, and personal days for eligible area staff.
- Process and track donations, maintain donor and leader databases, and manage monthly expenses and budgets.
- Provide training to area office staff on various items, processes, and applications related to field administration.
- High school education or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
- Previous administrative assistant experience; ability to type 55-60 words per minute with few errors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle concurrent tasks.
- Good grammar skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Basic accounting skills and detail-oriented multi-tasking ability.
- Proven relational skills with kids and adults, initiative in developing processes/systems around events, and great customer service skills.
