Key Responsibilities

  • Immerse yourself within your designated business units, comprehending their priorities, challenges, and personnel needs to translate them into actionable People strategies that support business growth; act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Guide and assist managers in the performance management of their teams, encompassing performance evaluations, feedback and coaching, promotions, career development, and disciplinary actions; provide insights on various People and Culture issues, including organizational structure, hiring and succession planning, employee relations, legal compliance, and policy interpretation.
  • Facilitate the integration and execution of systems, policies, standard operating procedures, and audits to ensure compliance with applicable regulations; utilize your expertise in employment laws to advise the People team on HR operations and policy matters.
  • Oversee all tasks related to administering benefits offerings, collaborating with external providers to reconcile benefit contributions and premiums.
  • Manage and maintain employee records throughout the employment lifecycle, processing actions in the HRIS platform and supervising the employee change process from approvals to data entry; conduct regular data quality reviews and audits to drive process enhancements.
  • Assist with the bi-weekly payroll processing for employees, including bonuses and commissions, tax adjustments, benefit contributions, and HRIS workflow approvals, serving as a point of contact for employees regarding these matters.
  • Support strategic hiring initiatives; leverage a deep understanding of business strategy to identify the skills and capabilities required for the future and develop a plan to attract, develop, and retain the talent necessary to execute the business strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to identify training needs for business units and partner with key stakeholders to design and implement new training programs that address business requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources Management or an MBA with a focus on HR (or a related field), and/or SHRM/PHR certification preferred; payroll certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of various human resource disciplines, including payroll, compensation practices, organizational design, employee relations, diversity, talent and performance management, and federal and state employment laws; experienced in providing strategic guidance to managers and individual contributors.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an HR Generalist role or as an HR Business Partner in a high-growth, multinational environment; at least 3 years of demonstrated HRIS experience required.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing multi-state payroll required; professional certification in payroll and a strong understanding of payroll regulations and taxes are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience navigating employment law, including collaboration with outside counsel on various employment-related topics.
  • Ability to work Eastern Time hours Monday through Friday; this role primarily supports teams located in the eastern region.
  • Proficiency in business-level English and Spanish is essential.
  • Confident in acting as the designated partner for leaders, utilizing your knowledge and experience to influence performance and growth.
