At A TFI International Company, we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to join our team. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a customer base in the assigned sales area by presenting and promoting our company's services.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a customer base in the assigned territory, requiring travel to meet with customers and prospects.
- Utilize our CRM system to capture the voice of the customer and manage customer workflow by documenting leads, opportunities, activities, and appointments to maintain a 360-degree view of the customer.
- Provide rates and quotes to existing and potential customers as requested.
- Analyze account and territory performance and determine the course of action necessary to drive growth and profitability.
- Grow our OTR business, as well as other areas of our business such as LTL in Mexico, Intermodal, Dedicated, Regional, and Cartage.
- Monitor the productivity and efficiency of equipment in the assigned territory and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with Operations personnel and other Sales Managers to resolve customer concerns and maintain a balanced network within the territory.
- Prepare territory reports and assist with accounts receivables.
- Minimum of one (1) year related sales experience preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with personnel in customer or vendor organizations to accomplish desired objectives and results for the company.
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of personal computers, including Microsoft Office.
- Proven skill in negotiating with customers to complete transactions and produce win-win results.
- Proven skill in oral and written communications, with the ability to prepare and deliver concise, understandable reports and presentations.
- Successful completion of the CFI Sales Manager training course.
The duties of this job are performed in both an office environment and a light industrial environment, requiring some minor to moderate level of noise due to office equipment and industrial equipment. The employee is frequently required to travel to meetings or other engagements by automobile, airplane, or other method of travel. If the employee drives a car in these instances, the employee must have all capabilities needed to do so safely.
