Role Summary

We are searching for an Executive Chef - Italian Cuisine to lead our culinary team at 31st Street LLC. The successful candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of Italian cuisine, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Spearhead the development of new menu items, incorporating fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional Italian cooking techniques.
  • Lead a team of cooks, actively mentoring and guiding them to achieve exceptional results.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen organization, ensuring seamless service delivery during peak periods.
  • Collaborate with management to optimize kitchen workflows, minimizing waste and reducing labor costs.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure consistency in flavor profiles, texture, and presentation.
  • Communicate effectively with the management team to address any concerns, share best practices, and drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Chef, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a senior culinary role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Italian cuisine, including traditional cooking techniques, ingredients, and menu concepts.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, fostering a positive, productive work environment.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
  • A strong network of industry contacts, enabling effective communication and collaboration.

Compensation: We offer a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
