We are seeking a motivated individual to take on the role of Service Associate at K&A Appliance, Inc. In this position, you will manage the service operations within our appliance retail environment. Your leadership will guide a team of skilled professionals, ensuring our customers receive outstanding service for their home appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee daily activities of the service department, including coordination with service technicians.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective and timely service delivery.
  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance service efficiency, ensuring tasks are completed promptly.
  • Address customer complaints or escalate issues as needed, ensuring swift resolutions.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, particularly Delivery and Customer Checkout.
  • Document and monitor inventory levels of parts to maintain stock and order necessary components for service repairs.
  • Order and track parts required for the Service Department.
  • Process warranty claims with manufacturers.
  • Invoice and collect payments from customers for non-warranty services and parts.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar position, ideally within the appliance or retail sector.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Outstanding customer service skills, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and team members.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer systems and software for service and delivery operations.

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.
