Position Overview:

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Engineer to deliver engineering expertise for the Fixed Submarine Broadcast System program.

This role requires onsite engagement and offers a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

The selected candidate will provide installation and technical guidance in the areas of research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting Technology Analysis and Assessment
  • Defining Design Specifications
  • Developing Systems Specifications
  • Performing System Analysis and Architecture
  • Integrating Systems and Equipment
  • Establishing Test & Evaluation Criteria
  • Providing Logistics support for C4ISR requirements related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.

The candidate must be recognized as a specialist in the design, field modification, testing, and evaluation of FVLF/LF transmitters, antennas, and tuning systems, taking on a senior engineering role in leading significant modifications of contemporary FVLF/LF radio transmitters.

Experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, and RF circuit theory is essential, along with proficiency in MultiSIM or PSPICE. The engineer will perform intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure optimal transmitter system performance and will troubleshoot and isolate faults to resolve operational issues.



Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. The role primarily requires onsite presence, with limited remote opportunities.

Additionally, a total of 15 years of experience in research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation is required, including:

  • Technology Analysis and Assessment
  • Design Definition
  • Development of Systems Specifications
  • System Analysis and Architecture
  • Systems/Equipment Integration
  • Test & Evaluation Criteria
  • Logistics support for C4ISR requirements related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.

Expertise in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory, and operation, along with experience in MultiSIM or PSPICE, is a must.


Clearance Requirement:

Candidate must possess a Secret clearance.

The total compensation package may also include additional elements, which will be discussed during the hiring process.

If hired, the employee will be in an "at-will position," and GovCIO reserves the right to modify base salary and other compensation programs at any time based on performance and market factors.


Salary Range:

USD $124,000 - USD $185,000.00 /Yr.
