Position Overview:

GovCIO is seeking a skilled Radio Frequency Engineer to deliver engineering support for advanced communication systems.

This role will be primarily onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide installation and technical expertise in the following areas: Research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation, including: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.

Recognized as an authority in the design, field modification, testing, and evaluation of FVLF/LF transmitters, antennas, and tuning systems, you will lead significant modifications of current generation FVLF/LF radio transmitters.

Proficient in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, and RF circuit theory and operation, with experience in MultiSIM or PSPICE. Conduct intricate alignment and calibration procedures to ensure optimal transmitter system performance.

Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues through effective fault isolation.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant experience. This is primarily an onsite position with some remote opportunities.

At least 15 years of experience in research, design, development, commissioning, testing, and evaluation, including:

Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, System Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support related to Navy Fixed Very Low Frequency (FVLF)/Low Frequency (LF) high-powered broadcast systems.

Experience in analog circuit design, circuit analysis software, RF circuit theory and operation, with familiarity in MultiSIM or PSPICE.
