Position Overview
The Service Controller plays a crucial role in the management and optimization of service operations. This position is responsible for coordinating daily activities of maintenance and service personnel to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Route Development: Create and manage daily and weekly schedules for Maintenance Technicians and Service Technicians, ensuring optimal route efficiency.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with Field Supervisors to clarify expectations and align on workload management.
- Order Management: Review and dispatch same-day service requests, providing additional context as necessary to the field team.
- Compliance Monitoring: Utilize vehicle tracking systems to verify adherence to compliance standards and operational benchmarks.
- Performance Analysis: Generate reports on zoning, scheduling efficiencies, and route performance to support operational leadership in decision-making.
- Audit and Reporting: Conduct audits and prepare operational reports for managerial review, ensuring data integrity and actionable insights.
- Training Coordination: Collaborate with Field Supervisors and Office Management to plan and execute training events and team-building initiatives that enhance employee engagement and performance.
- Technical Support: Provide assistance to technicians regarding route-related issues and support Customer Service Representatives with scheduling inquiries and non-field related questions.
- Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement Maintenance Plans for new clientele, ensuring tailored service delivery.
- Data Analysis: Continuously update and analyze reporting tools and metrics to drive financial performance and operational success.
